Belen Or Nativity Scene At The Cathedral
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day. I know it's been two days but I only had a chance to go out yesterday. Anyway, it's never too late to share this pictures to everyone who frequents San Pablo City Online.
Yesterday, I was able to take a few pictures of the Belen or Nativity Scene that is currently on displayed in front of the Cathedral. You'll find the Belen at Saint Paul's old location. The image of Saint Paul used to have a cave on that location but it was removed and his image was moved near the Administration Office.
The Belen is poorly constructed. It's expected because the church set it up just a few days before Christmas Day. The workers weren't even able to paint the walls of the Belen or maybe it wasn't supposed to be painted. I wouldn't really know but it sure looks like a rush job.
Anyway, poorly constructed or not, at least, the church was able to set it up just in time for Christmas Day. Maybe next year, they could set it up earlier and, maybe, spend some time setting it up because the Belen represents the day our Lord Jesus Christ was born.
