Campaign Posters And Electric Posts

Candidates for both Local and National Government positions are heavily campaigning all around San Pablo City. They have their campaign vehicles driving around the city playing their annoying campaign songs and all their faces are plastered everywhere (except maybe for those independents who can't afford to pay for campaign posters).

Speaking of campaign posters, I believe that candidates are only allowed to post or place campaign posters in or on designated common posting areas. They can also post or plaster their campaign posters on walls and fences of private properties if they have permission from the owners. Of course, they'll still have to follow the rules on posted campaign materials.

As far as I know, Electric Posts are not designated by COMELEC as common posting areas but, for some reason, some candidates are still posting, plastering or putting up their campaign posters on them. Don't these candidates know the rules on posting campaign materials?

For example, take a look at the posted screenshot above. The electric post in the picture above is just one of the many electric posts in San Pablo City that have campaign posters.

"Candidates are not allowed to post their campaign materials on electric posts, trees and other public structures, including government vehicles; COMELEC has identified a list of common poster areas which can be obtained from their respective election officers,"- PIA

To all local and national candidates who are campaigning in our city, can all of you please clean-up your mess. Kindly stop posting your campaign posters on places or areas where they're not supposed to be posted.
