The Biggest Buko Pie, San Pablo City Cocofest 2014
Here is another blog post update for you guys to enjoy. This morning, while channel surfing, we saw that Unang Hirit of GMA 7 was in San Pablo City. They were at the City Plaza covering the Biggest Buko Pie.
My wife wanted to see it Live. So, she asked my youngest son to accompany her to the City Plaza but I decided to go with her instead. The City Plaza is only a walking distance from our home. Well, it's a walking distance for us but it may not be a walking distance for others. He he he.
Unfortunately, when we got there, the hosts of Unang Hirit where already back inside there tent. The only personality that we saw was Arn-arn but I wasn't fast enough to take his picture.
Well, I did take some pictures of The Biggest Buko Pie. See them below.
I apologize for the head shots because other people were already in-front of the Buko Pie and I was behind them. All I could do was raise my cellphone camera to take these pictures.
As you can see from the pictures, the Buko Pie was made up of smaller sections. These sections were then pieced together like a puzzle to create the entire Buko Pie. Impressive right?
It would have been more impressive if the Buko Pie was cooked or baked as a whole and not in sections.
Anyway, my wife got a piece and she said that the taste is just okay. It wasn't good but it wasn't bad either. Still, people were taking a piece or two from the Buko Pie. In fact, one guy took a huge section of the Buko Pie.
Okay, that's it for this blog post and if you have any comments, questions or reactions then don't hesitate to post them in the comments section. Also, help spread the word about this post and share it to your Twitter, Facebook and Google+ accounts.
