The X-Factor Philippines Audition in San Pablo City
The X-Factor is a very popular television show in the UK and it was created by former Pop Idol and American Idol judge Simon Cowell. The show is all about finding the best singing talent that has that X-Factor to become a Superstar. You may have the talent but if you don't have that X-Factor then you might as well look for a new career path to take. He he he!

Anyway, ABS-CBN is bringing this popular franchise here in the Philippines and it will carry the name The X-Factor Philippines. Nope, it will not be called Pinoy X-Factor or Pilipinas X-Factor like their other two shows, Pinoy Big Brother and Pilipinas Got Talent.
Now, if you think you have that X-Factor and you are interested in auditioning then you are in luck because The X-Factor Philippines will be having an audition here in San Pablo City. The X-Factor Philippines audition will be held on December 8, 2011 at SM City San Pablo. So, if you are not doing anything and would like to become the next ABS-CBN star then don't forget to be there.

As for the show, I've never seen any episodes of The X-Factor UK but I did watch a few episodes of The X-Factor USA and, since The X-Factor Philippines is from the same franchise, I believe the format will be the same. Unlike the Idol series, the judges in The X-Factor eventually become mentors of the contestants.
I think, GMA 7's Protege is somewhat based on The X-Factor. They just changed it enough so that it will not look similar or copied from The X-Factor but that's just my guess.
