Frustrated With Bitslink Computers San Pablo
Almost two months ago, my wife returned a Focus LED Monitor back to Bitslink Computers San Pablo because it was showing some problems. In other words, it was malfunctioning. I bought this monitor to replace my almost 10 year old CRT monitor.
(I bought this monitor from Bitslink Computers San Pablo but I returned it because it was malfunctioning.
It's almost 2 months and they have not yet replaced it.)
Bitslink Computers San Pablo City said that they'll replace the malfunctioning monitor with a new one but it will take at least 7 days. After 7 days, I asked my wife to check the status of the replacement but Bitslink Computers told her that it may take a little longer, about 20 to 60 days longer. OMG!
Does it always take them 20 to 60 days to replace a defective or malfunctioning unit? Seriously! As a Freelance Web Designer, I won't be able to accept and do any work without a monitor. If your livelihood depends on the machine or equipment you use then waiting 20 to 60 days is unacceptable because where would you get the money to feed your family?
Defective products or items can't be avoided but should it really take that long for these items to be replaced? If I have any money to spare then I wouldn't even bother with the replacement. I'll just buy a new one but, unfortunately, I'm not blessed with a lot of money. If I don't work then I won't get paid and, right now, my work is heavily affected by this monitor problem. I had to refuse a couple of projects because of it.
(My old CRT monitor that I replaced with the LED monitor but I am using it again because the LED monitor I bought from Bitslink Computers San Pablo is defective and they have yet to replaced it. It's been almost 2 months already.)
Since Bitslink Computers San Pablo hasn't yet replaced the LED Monitor that my wife returned to them, I'm currently trying to make due with my almost 10 year old CRT monitor that's already having problems with its colors. As you can see from the picture above, the monitor is already red all over and that was the reason why I bought that LED monitor.
I'm not sure how anyone can design with a red screened monitor but I'm really trying. In fact, I was able to finish a few simple designs for a client with that red screened monitor but I might not be able to continue designing on it very long because the monitor is just too painful to look at.
I just wish that Bitslink Computers San Pablo could understand my situation. I've been waiting for almost two months already and, yet, I still don't know when I will get my replacement monitor. I'm really frustrated, irritated and even annoyed at them right now. When I bought that LED monitor, I didn't make them wait 20 to 60 days before paying them. I paid them the same day.
And do you want to know what's the worst part of all this? A couple of days ago, when I asked my wife to check again the status of my replacement monitor, the person she talked to was surprised to see that we've been waiting for almost 2 months. WOW! Are they serious?
So, if you are going to buy a monitor then I strongly suggest that you stay away from this brand called FOCUS. According to Bitslink Computers San Pablo, other people who bought this monitor brand returned it because they also encountered problems with it.
