Bye Centro Department Store, Hello UNO Factory Outlet

Yesterday, UNO Factory Outlet had its Grand Opening here in San Pablo City. You will find UNO Factory Outlet at A. Bonifacio Street in the same building where Centro Department Store used to be. UNO Factory Outlet and Centro Department Store are both owned by the same company, Citistores Inc.

I have no idea why they changed it from Centro Department Store to UNO Factory Outlet but they describe UNO Factory Outlet as LPL or Low Price Line. Citistores Inc. has two divisions; 1. FDS or Fashion Department Store and 2. LPL or Low Price Line. My guess is, Centro Department Store falls under the FDS division.

Wow, it's like they downgraded San Pablo City from their first class brand which is Centro into their second class brand which, in this case, is UNO. Well, I can't really blame them for making such a move because most people here in San Pablo City are looking for low priced items. Those who can afford to buy high priced items either shop in SM City San Pablo or they shop in Manila.

My wife and I was at UNO Factory Outlet yesterday just to check it out and, according to my wife, the prices of the items they sell are indeed lower because they are not selling original items. Well, to be fair. The ones we look at weren't original and we, kinda, didn't look at everything. So, it's possible that there could be cheap original items there that we didn't see.

Honestly, the real reason why we were there was, we were looking for a cheap Playstation 2 Dualshock Controller because the ones we have at home were no longer working. As you can see, the keyword in that last sentence is "cheap" and that is basically how most people in San Pablo City do their shopping. Unfortunately, buying an original PS2 controller is way over my budget of 300 pesos. LOL!

We didn't find a cheap Playstation 2 Dualshock Controller at UNO Factory Outlet but we did go home with a pair of black LACOSTE slippers. My wife got it for only 79 pesos. Cheap eh? Well, you'll find a lot of low priced items here at the newly opened UNO Factory Outlet.

Again, UNO Factory Outlet is located at A. Bonifacio Street, San Pablo City. If you know where Centro Department Store is in San Pablo City then you won't get lost getting to UNO Factory Outlet.
