Sto. Cristo Garbage Dump Site
This problem was posted in Facebook by a concerned citizen. It seems that some people in San Pablo City specially in Brgy. Sto. Cristo are dumping their garbage in this particular area (see picture). I guess the motto, "Ako Ay Disiplinado Dahil Ako'y Taga-San Pablo" is not entirely true for those people who dump their garbage here.

Dumping their garbage just beside a river will obviously further pollute the already polluted river water. It will also pollute the air around it and that can affect the health of the people who live near the area.
The problem with some people is, they don't care where they dump their garbage as long as their own houses or homes are clean. They don't care if other people get sick from their trash as long they are not the ones getting sick from it.

As seen from the pictures above, there are people or families living right beside it and some of the trash are already spilling into the river. It is not a huge problem now but, who knows, in a few years this simple problem might cause some serious flooding.
Anyway, for those who are in-contact with people who can help, please tell them about this problem in Purok 4, Brgy. Sto. Cristo, San Pablo City.
