Where is San Pablo?
Before the Holy Week, I took some pictures of the Cathedral ground and, as you can see from the picture below, it seems that the church is doing some renovating both inside and outside the Cathedral. The park and the green grass are gone. They've been replaced with gravel. I think they're going to pave it over with concrete. I kinda like green grass better than concrete though but that's just me.
I've also heard a rumor that they're going to change it into a Parking Lot for Church goers. Wow! If that is true then I guess a lot of people in San Pablo City are starting to own cars these days. Anyway, that's just a rumor. I have no idea what they're going to do with the Church ground.
As you can see from the picture above, San Pablo and the rest of his cave is gone. It's been stripped off the ground clean. All that was left was the curvature of the cave that was once there. Now, where in God's Earth is our Patron Saint? At that time, I have no idea where they dropped-off or placed San Pablo. I grew up seeing him there and now that he is not there, I kinda misses him.
The poor old Saint was under a small metal gazeebo, all tied up and under his feet were beams of wood. He was on one knee as if praying to God for his freedom. I have no idea how Ancient Romans treated our Saints but seeing him like that kinda gave me an idea. I guess it's not a big surprise because we are the Roman Catholic Church, aren't we? Just kidding but they could have made him look more comfortable. Why not? He may be made a statue but he still represents our Patron Saint, Saint Paul.

San Pablo Gone
After taking some pictures of the Cathedral ground, I turned around to take some pictures of San Pablo. Our Patron Saint has a statue located at the left-front-side of the Cathedral but, to my surprise, his little spot in that corner or side was nowhere to be seen.As you can see from the picture above, San Pablo and the rest of his cave is gone. San Pablo Found
Yesterday, I found where San Pablo is. I was with my family and we were on our way to see the Senakulo when my daughter pointed where San Pablo is located. The church people placed San Pablo on the center island near the Church Administration Office (see picture below). The poor old Saint was under a small metal gazeebo, all tied up and under his feet were beams of wood.
